There are more than one billion people with disabilities who are facing the challenges of COVID-19. They face major difficulties in being able to manage both prevention and recovery. Their loved ones need to care for them in close proximity and therefore social distancing is not practical. Many facilities are not geared to accommodate their compounded needs in this COVID-19 era. Through this webinar, ITfHESE wants to bring to the forefront of the local, national, regional, and international arena, the plight of people with disabilities and their care givers. It took place on April 24, 2020.
